Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Overview:

Join a household name and leader in its field as a Senior Legal Counsel in Paris. This hybrid role offers excellent remuneration and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, private equity-backed company with offices across Europe and North America.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle a diverse range of legal work including corporate matters, regulatory and public affairs, competition, litigation, data privacy, and commercial contracts.
2. Step up in the General Counsel’s absence and support the company's legal needs during rapid growth.
3. Develop legal processes and governance frameworks supporting a large operational team in France.
4. Collaborate closely with the UK head office and engage in board-level matters.

Candidate Profile:

Seeking a CAPA-qualified lawyer with a background in corporate or general commercial law, ideally from a top international or French law firm, or an in-house lawyer with a strong generalist or corporate background. Strong drafting skills and a desire for broad in-house experience are essential.
