Job summary

OECD is seeking a Junior Policy Analyst to support management of the Secretariat’s major export credits databases, including the prior notifications and commitments databases. The role requires strong data management, analytic skills, and the ability to translate policy rules into clear insights for government audiences.

Ideal candidates will have an advanced degree and at least four years in export credits, with experience handling large datasets and drafting analytical materials.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in economics, finance, public policy, statistics, or another relevant discipline.
• At least four years of professional experience in export credits.
• Experience managing large-scale databases and ensuring data quality.
• Ability to translate policy rules into data-driven insights for governmental audiences.
• Experience drafting analytical reports and briefing materials.
• Ability to rapidly acquire expertise in complex technical subjects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update export credit databases (prior notifications and commitments).
• Analyse submissions for consistency with rules and identify anomalies.
• Contribute to annual Business Activities Report under supervision.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform policy discussions.
• Prepare briefing notes, analytical papers, and presentations.
• Present analytical findings to Members and stakeholders.
