We are recruiting for a Junior Evaluator in the Fabric Care category, based in Argenteuil. This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.

Our Junior Evaluators are fragrance development specialists whose primary goal is to successfully deliver fragrances to our customers, understanding their requirements. They analyze the market, consumer behavior, and preferences.

In this role, you will be responsible for fragrance development activities, collaborating closely with CFMs and Senior Evaluators. You will ensure quick responses to customer briefs using existing systems and setup of Givaudan.

The Junior Evaluator reports to the Creative Fragrance Team Director.

In this exciting role, you will:

• Manage and execute multiple complex briefs, developing or selecting fragrances according to guidelines
• Support Senior Evaluators and CFMs on their projects
• Work with Perfumers on technical modifications and guide them in developing new creations
• Collaborate with the lab on testing product stability
• Participate in olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development
• Prepare internal and small customer presentations

Industry and Marketing

• Build basic knowledge of fragrance products, market dynamics, and key customers

Activation and Gallery

• Curate a best-in-class fragrance collection, responding to gap analysis, market needs, and trends
• Manage the efficient selection of fragrances for activation projects

Your professional profile includes:

• 1-2 years of experience as an intern/trainee in evaluation or related industry experience
• Competent olfactory skills: ability to recognize, define, and memorize olfactory notes and fragrance terminology (assessed via standardized olfactory test)
• Passion for perfume and olfaction
• Ability to interact with customers/clients on briefs and technical issues
• Fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage
