Job Description

You are joining the Metrics Calculation & Reporting (MC&R) department as a junior Data Scientist – Exploration of Data & AI use cases. The department calculates ALM, liquidity and solvency indicators, and produces the associated reporting.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

• Analyze team needs and help identify and prioritize use cases;
• Assess the potential, availability and quality of data;
• Explore, prepare and analyze useful data;
• Carry out statistical analyses and develop prototypes in data science or artificial intelligence, then evaluate the results;
• Present and document your work, its limitations, and areas for further development, in accordance with internal rules relating to data and tools.

As a junior Data Scientist, you participate in the exploration of Data & AI use cases and in the first experiments designed to meet the needs of teams.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education in data science, statistics, computer science, applied mathematics or an equivalent field, you have initial experience in similar positions.

You master:

• Python and common data analysis and modeling libraries;
• The basics of statistics and machine learning;
• SQL or data visualization tools, a first practice being appreciated;
• Natural language processing or generative AI, a plus.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

• Curious, creative and open to exploring new approaches;
• Strength of proposal;
