Job summary

Natixis is seeking a Data Scientist / Python (F/H) for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Paris with a possibility to work from home. You will strengthen the COO Internal Audit data capabilities, industrialize risk assessment and enrich the internal platform with data pipelines and AI features.

You will collect data from SQL databases, APIs and unstructured sources, build end-to-end data workflows, and integrate outputs into the Audit Data Hub (Django).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in development and/or data science roles.
• Proficient in Python with pandas, Django and APIs.
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills for data analysis.
• Experience with Linux and Git version control.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of banking domain and controls.
• Proficient in English at B1 level.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from SQL databases, Hive, APIs and unstructured files and ensure quality.
• Develop end-to-end data workflow: extraction, transformation, scoring and publication.
• Integrate deliverables within the Audit Data Hub built with Django.
• Implement generative AI use cases for document extraction and risk synthesis.

Job Description

You will join the COO of Natixis CIB’s internal audit to strengthen the team’s data capabilities. The goal: to industrialize risk assessment and enrich our internal platform, bringing together data collection, automated controls, and generative AI features.

Within the team, you will contribute to the design and development of data solutions for audit teams.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

• Collect data from SQL databases, Hive, APIs and unstructured files, then check its quality;
• Develop an end-to-end orchestrated workflow: data extraction, transformation, scoring and publication;
• Integrate deliverables within the Audit Data Hub, developed with Django;
• Implement generative AI use cases, particularly for document extraction and risk synthesis.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education, you have 5 years of experience in development and/or data science roles.

You master:

• Python, notably pandas, Django and the use of APIs;
• SQL and Power BI;
• Linux and Git;
• DevOps best practices and CI/CD chains;
• The banking professions.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen, and you are:

• Standalone;
• Rigorous;
• Able to explain technical topics in a clear and accessible manner.

You are proficient in English with a B1 level.
