Fixed Income Credit Analyst

The Fixed Income team manages funds and mandates dedicated to SCOR entities and third-party clients across various assets, currencies, and geographies.

Reporting directly to the Head of Fixed Income, the Credit Analyst oversees the coverage of a list of debt issuers invested by the Fixed Income desk within a team of ten people.

Investments may be within the SCOR mandate or through funds open to third parties.

The Fixed Income desk at SCOR Investment Partners focuses on investments in Investment Grade, High Yield, and non-rated corporate debt. The Head of Fixed Income reports to the CIO of SCOR Investment Partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of assigned issuers at inception and monitor their performance during the investment period (quarterly results or press releases).
• Develop comprehensive financial models.
• Provide buy or sell recommendations to fund managers based on issuer credit quality and relative value analysis.
• Identify new investment opportunities in primary and secondary markets.
• Engage with company management, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies.
• Coordinate credit meetings with SCOR IP fund managers.
• Analyze legal and financial documentation.

Experience

• Experience as a credit analyst intern in asset management or banking.
• Experience with U.S. domestic names is a plus.
• Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Pragmatic with the ability to think independently.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Strong workload management skills to meet deadlines.
• Flexible to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
• High credibility externally and internally.

Required Education

• CFA and/or MBA in finance from a top-tier program.
