Lincoln International is seeking a Junior Associate to join our team in Paris. With an integrated team of more than 40 professionals in France, Lincoln International is one of Europe’s leading M&A advisory houses, consistently ranking in top positions in relevant league tables.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. In addition to mastering the financial analysis and research skills typical for the position, an Associate at Lincoln International learns about and becomes involved in a transaction from start to finish. The Associate serves as the analytical anchor for their deal team and is responsible for preparing, completing and ensuring the accuracy of all financial modelling and analysis. The Associate is expected to interpret the results of his/her financial analysis, pose questions and draw conclusions. In addition, the Associate plays a critical role in the preparation of client presentations and is responsible for:

  • Preparing marketing materials for sell-side and buy-side advisory assignments
  • Identifying potential acquirers
  • Conducting industry and company-specific research
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all presentation materials
  • Supporting the due diligence process
  • Interacting with clients on a regular basis
  • Attending client meetings
  • Supporting the marketing activities of the firm as they relate to an industry or engagement
  • Financial modelling
  • Carry out company and financial analyses, including valuations

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years prior experience as an Associate in the M&A field.
  • An exceptional, well rounded academic background, ideally educated to Masters level in a business related subject.
  • Great analytical skills and attention to detail, along with a willingness to develop and learn.
  • Solid and growing understanding of business models and sectors coupled with a good grasp of corporate strategy and themes related to company growth and development
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a commitment to personal growth, underpinned through professional and academic excellence as well as other pursuits and personal projects.
  • Adaptability, dependability and the ability to manage a dynamic workload.
  • Clear and engaging communication skills- verbally as well as written. Is able to relate and connect to other stakeholders quickly- clients, management teams and LI colleagues
