Qualifications

• Obtained passes or in the process of obtaining ACCA modules, or Degree in Accountancy.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in a similar role considered an asset.

Responsabilités

As aJunior Accountant, you will form part of a supervised team of Qualified and Partly-Qualified Accountants. You will be working on a portfolio of clients of varying sizes and operating in various industries.

Your Responsibilities:

• Process day-to-day financial transactions, including data entry and ledger postings
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with the basic preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice or expense discrepancies
• Assist with VAT returns and other compliance-related tasks, as required
• Take on more complex accounting responsibilities as you gain experience and progress academically

Requirements:

• Have obtained passes or in the process of obtaining in any number of ACCA modules OR hold a Degree in Accountancy
• Must be already based in Malta
• A team player with a can do and motivated mindset
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset, but not required
