Summary:

The Junior Account Manager (JAM) manages and grows revenue with one of our two French distributors and the national hypermarket channel. You will build trusted relationships, drive sell‑in/sell‑out activities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, marketing, finance) to achieve sales, margin and inventory targets while elevating the Turtle Beach brand in store and online.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Distributor Management – Own the day‑to‑day relationship with the assigned distributor, including forecast reviews, order placement, pricing & promotion execution, and aged‑stock actions.
  • Key Account Development – Grow market share in major hypermarket banners (e.g., Carrefour, E.Leclerc, Auchan) through assortment negotiations, planogram optimization, and seasonal promotional plans.
  • P&L Ownership – Deliver sales, margin, and trade‑spend targets; track performance and propose corrective actions when required.
  • Promotion & NPI Execution – Coordinate launch plans, POS activation, and digital campaigns in partnership with Marketing; secure in‑store space and visibility.
  • Data & Insight – Analyze sell‑out data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify risks and growth opportunities; provide monthly business reviews to management.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Supply Chain on demand planning and with Finance on credit, deductions, and rebate reconciliation.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in account management, sales support, or category roles—preferably within retail, distribution, or consumer electronics.
  • Business/Commerce degree (BAC +5) or equivalent.
  • Solid grasp of retail sales processes and promotional mechanics.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; comfortable with data analysis and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
  • Passion for gaming (console or PC) is a strong plus.
  • Fluent French & English (written and spoken).
  • Valid driving license.
