About the Role

We are looking for experienced Job Search Consultants to provide career transition support to professionals impacted by workforce changes. This freelance role is focused on delivering personalized coaching to job seekers in France—supporting them with their job search strategy, application materials, interview preparation, and networking techniques. This role is ideal for former recruiters , HR consultants , or skills assessment specialists who enjoy empowering others and have strong communication and coaching abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with job seekers via phone, video, and email
  • Guide candidates in:
  • Developing and optimizing CVs and LinkedIn profiles
  • Organizing job search activities and tracking progress
  • Enhancing interview skills through mock interviews and preparation
  • Evaluating job offers and navigating salary negotiations
  • Share tailored job leads and resources
  • Support candidates in one or both of the following phases:
  • Pre-redundancy phase : Voluntary support before job termination, often delivered on-site
  • Outplacement phase : Traditional transition support, typically delivered remotely

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in French (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience advising professionals in job search or career transitions
  • Background in recruitment or skills assessment consulting
  • Licence-level (Bac+3) education strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and rapport-building skills
  • Strong sense of empathy, positivity, and motivation
  • Comfortable managing administrative tasks and using online tools for coaching

Technical Requirements

  • Personal computer (Windows 8/10 or Mac OS Yosemite and above)
  • High-speed internet access (Cable or DSL)
