Senior Financial Accountant - Your future role

As a Senior Financial Accountant in Argenteuil, you will maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data in the systems to ensure reporting according to regulations and company requirements. You will report to the Finance Operations Manager.

Your main responsibilities:

• General Accounting
• Manage Balance Sheet and P&L reviews in close relationship with the Shared Services Center.
• Prepare current tax returns (VAT, Intrastat, Income tax, CVAE, CFE, TVS, C3S, DAS2) and declare them within set deadlines.
• Reconcile and justify accounts monthly.
• Participate in monthly reporting tasks
• Investigate major variances and follow up for resolution following the predefined timetable set by Corporate Reporting.
• Assist with fiscal reporting preparation (statutory accounts and corporate tax) for internal finance and external audits.
• Troubleshoot related to General Accounting entries, involving the Shared Services Center for adjustments.
• Identify process issues and collaborate with relevant teams to create solutions.
• Support survey preparations and communications (INSEE, Banque de France, BPI) within deadlines.
• Perform other assignments delegated by the Accounting or Financial Manager.
• Internal controls over financial accounting and reporting (ICON)
• Maintain dashboards and ensure controls are completed.

Qualifications:

• University or college degree (preferably in Law, Finance, or Controlling): BTS comptabilité et gestion, DCG, DSCG.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including in a chartered accounting/auditing firm or an international group.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Service-oriented mindset that adds value.

• Experience with SAP ERP system.
