The CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences seeks to enhance understanding of contemporary China through a targeted recruitment policy, supporting research in areas such as mobility, social restructuring, artistic creation, and cultural practices. The selected researcher will contribute to the development of an innovative research platform and engage in interdisciplinary research covering social, cultural, and artistic transformations in China.
The research may involve collaboration with laboratories across disciplines like anthropology, sociology, political science, art, and media, focusing on internal dynamics of Chinese society, social and cultural transformations, and their global implications. The candidate will participate in teaching activities at assigned sites and contribute to open science initiatives, ensuring research results are accessible and reusable.
