Offer Description

Digital health is a strategic priority for the French government, leading to funding initiatives like the Priority Research and Equipment Programme (PEPR). These initiatives promote interdisciplinary collaboration between life sciences, computer sciences, and clinicians, focusing on mental health, neurosciences, and prevention.

The CNRS aims to harness generative AI in biology and health research, developing new computer science fields and applications relevant to health.

The CPJ GenAI-Psy project strengthens an interdisciplinary team at UMR6033 SANPSY and UMR5800 LABRI, focusing on developing multi-agent approaches based on large language models (LLMs) for medical diagnosis, pathology management, and predictive modeling. Key challenges include ensuring the robustness and reliability of LLMs in clinical settings, especially for complex human behavior disorders, with validation involving clinicians and patients.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching at the University of Bordeaux, focusing on AI applications in health, neuroscience, and neuropsychiatry, and will support open science initiatives by making research outputs accessible and reusable, including publications, data, and software.

The role emphasizes dissemination of research through publications, patents, software, and outreach activities such as conferences, newsletters, and public engagement, aiming to inform policy and foster participatory science in collaboration with socio-economic and cultural partners.

Applicants must hold a doctorate or equivalent, with no restrictions on age or nationality. CNRS values inclusivity and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
