As part of the COSURIA (COmpletion de SURfaces par Intelligence Artificielle) project, the post-doc will design methods and algorithms for completing geometry and colors on 3D colored meshes.
The post-doc will have the main responsibility for :
- Become familiar with the 3D auto-encoder recently designed by the
team
- Design and implement a method for completing the geometry and color of 3D meshes using the auto-encoder
The GREYC laboratory (UMR CNRS 6072) is a Joint Research Unit in digital sciences under the auspices of ENSICAEN, CNRS and the University of Caen Normandy (UNICAEN). The work will be carried out within the Image team, whose research activities focus on the development of new methods for signal/image/video processing and analysis.
The position is located in a sector covered by the Protection of Scientific and Technical Potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
— PhD in Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science
— MSc or engineering degree in a field related to computer science, electrical engineering, or applied mathe-
matics
— Strong publication record in computer vision and/or deep learning
— In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning methodologies
— Proficiency in Python (in particular with deep learning frameworks)
— Abilities to write scientific reports and communicate research results at conferences in English.
