Synthesis of pi-conjugated systems for OLED application
- Study of the physicochemical properties of the materials
- Management of the synthesis laboratory
- Technical and scientific supervision of doctoral students
- Writing publications
- Collaboration with various groups in France and around the world.
Synthetic organic chemistry -
Photophysical studies (absorption, fluorescence and phosphorescence emission, stationary and time-resolved, solution and thin film, etc.)
- Electrochemical studies (cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse, etc.)
- Supervision activity
- Molecular modeling
The recruited person will work in the MaCSE team at ISCR (Beaulieu Campus, Rennes) and more specifically in the group led by Cyril Poriel (DR CNRS). The group is a recognized player in the field of molecular nanohoops and pi-conjugated systems for electronics.
The candidate should have a PhD in organic chemistry (preferably in the field of pi-conjugated materials).
Strong skills in the synthetic chemistry of pi-conjugated materials and in the field of macrocyclic chemistry are required.
Strong skills in physico-chemical analysis (photophysical, electrochemical, morphological etc) of pi-conjugated systems are required.
Experience in molecular modeling will be an asset.
Fluent in English.
The position is aimed at a dynamic person motivated by fundamental research in the field of organic electronics.
