Main Mission
The project focuses on a preclinical approach to gene therapy for mitochondrial diseases associated with POLG gene mutations. These rare, often pediatric and lethal conditions require new curative strategies. The team is developing a treatment using AAV vectors, and the recruited researcher will contribute to the development and evaluation of this innovative strategy.
Main Activities
Work in an international environment, supervised by two senior researchers, with access to cutting-edge platforms. The project is supported by the POLG Foundation in a translational research center.
