The project focuses on characterising water dynamics within porous materials such as clays and zeolites, crucial in fields like adsorption, catalysis, pollution transfer, and desalination. It involves experimental and theoretical approaches across multiple scales, aiming to enhance understanding of fluid-solid interactions with applications in environmental and industrial processes.
The research will be conducted in collaboration with two laboratories (IC2MP, METIS) specializing in liquid-solid interface characterization and porous solids applications. The candidate may contribute to teaching physical chemistry or theoretical calculations at university levels.
The CNRS emphasizes open science, aiming for accessible research outputs and data sharing, aligned with modern evaluation principles. Results dissemination will include publications, patents, software, and outreach activities targeting diverse audiences, fostering science-society dialogue and participatory initiatives.
Applicants should hold a doctorate or equivalent, with no restrictions on age or nationality. The position is accessible to persons with disabilities, with necessary accommodations provided.
