Une institution de recherche prestigieuse recherche un ingénieur de recherche en biologie moléculaire et transcriptomique pour contribuer à un projet sur le cancer du pancréas. Le candidat idéal doit avoir une forte expérience en biologie moléculaire et être motivé par la recherche translationnelle. Les responsabilités incluent la collaboration interdisciplinaire et l'utilisation de techniques avancées d'analyse cellulaire et biologique.

Qualifications

  • Expérience avérée en biologie moléculaire (extraction d'ARN, qPCR, FACS).
  • Intérêt pour les technologies en transcriptomique unique et spatiale.
  • Rigueur, organisation, et motivation forte pour la recherche orientée patient.

Responsabilités

  • Contribuer à un programme de recherche sur le cancer du pancréas utilisant des techniques avancées.
  • Collaborer avec des équipes bioinformatiques pour l'analyse des données.
  • Suivre et mettre en œuvre des traitements expérimentaux en chimio sur des modèles in vitro.

Offer Description

As part of an ambitious project funded by the ARC Foundation, we are looking for a molecular biology and transcriptomics research engineer to join our translational research team specializing in pancreatic cancer.

Your mission:
Contribute to a cutting-edge research program combining spatial transcriptomics, single-cell RNA sequencing, tumor organoids, and clonal tracing, with the goal of understanding how tumors resist treatment and identifying new therapeutic strategies.

Skills/Qualifications

Your skills:
• Strong experience in molecular biology (RNA, qPCR, FACS…)
• Interest in single-cell and spatial transcriptomic technologies
• Hands-on experience in cell culture and a collaborative mindset
• Rigor, organization, and strong motivation for patient-oriented research

Specific Requirements

  • Educational Background
    • Master 2 degree or equivalent engineering degree in biology, biotechnology, or closely related fields.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proven expertise in molecular biology techniques: RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, FACS, cell culture.
    • This experience is not mandatory, but will be considered an asset, particularly in the context of preparing tissue sections and samples for spatial transcriptomics platforms such as 10x Genomics Visium or Xenium.
    • Familiarity with single-cell RNA-seq workflows, especially SPLiT-seq, is a plus.
    • Experience in 3D culture systems, including tumor organoids and CAF co-cultures, is highly desirable.
    • Previous use of viral transduction methods for clonal tracing (e.g., barcoding) is appreciated.
  • Project Involvement
    • Ability to follow and implement experimental chemotherapy treatments on in vitro models.
    • Participation in the coordination of biological samples with technical platforms (ICEP, DISC at CRCM).
    • Capacity to closely collaborate with bioinformatics teams for data analysis and experimental planning.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong organizational skills and experimental rigor.
    • Team-oriented mindset and ability to communicate across disciplines.
    • Strong motivation for translational research and interest in clinical applications.
  • Additional Assets
    • Previous experience in translational cancer research projects.
    • Comfort working in a multidisciplinary environment at the interface of biology, technology, and clinical research.
    • Proficiency in French or English (minimum working knowledge of both is recommended).
