Software programmer for control technology (PLC)

Tasks

1. Programming of machine and system controls with associated visualization.
2. Creation of control concepts.
3. Development of data interfaces and data aggregation.
4. Error analysis and derivation of troubleshooting measures for individual machines through to complex system interlinking.
5. Commissioning of control components, bus systems, and drives.
6. Commissioning support for customers at home and abroad.
7. Cooperation with sales and project management.
8. Support functions and management.

Qualification

1. Successfully completed studies in automation technology, electrical engineering, or related fields, or completed technician training in these areas.
2. Advanced knowledge of PLC controls (TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, or Simatic S7; optional: Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff).
3. Knowledge of high-level programming languages (Java, Python).
4. Initial experience in developing control concepts.
5. Experience with process simulation tools.
6. Basic knowledge of drive technology and parameterization.
7. Willingness to travel.
8. Proficiency in German and English.
9. Motivated, eager to learn, and open to challenges.
