Network administrator / IT specialist (m / f / d)

ABG FRANKFURT HOLDING GmbH is the residential construction and real estate group of the city of Frankfurt am Main. Tasks :

1. Support the expansion, administration, monitoring, and optimization of the network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, router, switches) and the administration and installation of the server landscape (VMware, Windows Server, Citrix, HCL Notes).
2. Perform problem analysis, troubleshooting, and support in hardware and software areas, including server/client-side issues.
3. Record requirements for technical concepts and contribute to their creation.
4. Document the implemented solutions.
5. Manage and monitor external service providers.
6. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and assist with user problems at the head office and branch offices in Frankfurt am Main.

Requirements :

1. Successfully completed IT training or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
2. Sound experience in firewall (Fortinet) and network administration (LAN, WLAN, VPN), along with good knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Windows, client and server operating systems, and virtualization solutions (VMware).
3. Microsoft 365 administration knowledge is an advantage.
4. Customer orientation, initiative, and the ability to work independently on issues.
5. Solution-oriented and meticulous working style, with the ability to cooperate and work in a team.
