Christie’s in Paris seeks a Jewellery Specialist to develop client relationships, source consignments, perform valuations and support auction and private sale delivery across an international network.

You will collaborate with colleagues worldwide, negotiate terms, provide market insights and help prepare catalogued property while contributing to growth of the department in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in jewellery industry or auctions preferred.
• Proven track record in business-getting and client relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of international jewellery markets.
• Experience in valuations, pricing and consignment negotiations.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with collectors, dealers, institutions, and trade clients.
• Source property for auctions and private sales to meet business targets.
• Conduct valuations and prepare proposals for consignments.
• Negotiate consignment terms in line with company policies.
• Provide pricing recommendations and market insights.
