Euronext seeks a skilled index designer to craft and tailor index strategies for the Italian market. You will work on data analysis, back-testing, rule creation, and client-facing activities, collaborating with sales and operations to deliver compelling index solutions.

The role requires strong Python, finance knowledge, and proficiency in Italian and English, with a focus on client needs and market trends. This is a client-facing, cross-functional position based in Paris.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science with strong finance components.
• Candidates with Economics or Finance degrees with a quantitative focus are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Design indices including data analysis, modeling, back-testing, rule creation, marketing material drafting, and handovers.
• Create thematic and systematic index strategies tailored to client needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with Index Sales on the Italian market to support client coverage and business development across institutional and issuer segments.
• Support client meetings and commercial discussions with banks, asset managers, insurers and other financial institutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Italian market clients.
• Answer queries related to index rules, compositions, mechanisms, data providers, and methodologies.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations while paying close attention to detail during index creation.
