Euronext is seeking a skilled Index Architect to design and implement advanced index solutions for the Italian market. You will work with data analysis, modeling, back-testing, and rule creation, coordinating with sales to identify client needs and opportunities across institutional and issuer segments.

The role requires a strong quantitative background, fluency in Italian and English, and experience with market data platforms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science with strong finance and business components.
• Candidates with degrees in Economics or Finance with a strong quantitative focus are encouraged to apply.
• 2–3 years of experience in indexation, portfolio construction, or related quantitative roles; client-facing experience valued.

Responsabilités

• Design indices including data analysis, modeling, back-testing and rule creation.
• Create new thematic and systematic index strategies tailored to client needs and trends.
• Collaborate with Index Sales on the Italian market to support client coverage, business development and opportunities.
• Participate in client meetings and support commercial discussions with banks, asset managers, insurers and other institutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients in the Italian market.
• Provide client support by answering queries on index rules, compositions, mechanisms, data providers and methodologies.
• Support development of new index solutions tailored to the Italian market and local demand.
• Ensure meticulous handover of index creation to operations.
