Your missions

Within the Product Project and Marketing (PPM) organization, which includes IoT with Connected vehicles & Industrial IoT activities, and the MVNx department with MVNO customer activities in Aggregator (MVNA) and Enabler (MVNE) modes, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to pilot ambitious cellular connectivity projects with a vast, multidisciplinary scope (from standardized to customized for our biggest customers).

As Project Director, you will be responsible for the operational management of projects from start to finish.

You will steer the deployment of connectivity solutions for IoT or MVNx customers and participate in implementing new services around data, eSIM, security, VoLTE/VoWiFi, and Transatel’s innovative internal services. You will work closely with sales teams, R&D managers, product managers, and technical management to ensure project deliverables. You will also support marketing teams in building innovative technical offers.

Ideal candidates are gifted with strong leadership, management, and cross-functional coordination skills. You will manage the project team (internal and/or external resources) and ensure its performance by applying Transatel’s project management methodologies inspired by PMI/PMP, Prince 2, etc.

Responsibilities include:

1. Project management and supervision:
2. Identify stakeholders and influence project governance to achieve objectives.
3. Manage project progress and impacts on plans, ensuring contractual deadlines and milestones are met.
4. Manage third-party partners in a complex environment.
5. Identify risks and mitigation solutions, raising alarms when necessary.
6. Conduct standard project communication with customers, suppliers, team, and management.
7. Organize project handover to Operations teams.

Technical content responsibilities include:

1. Participate in choosing technical and software solutions (conceptual and architectural) with R&D and IT & Telecoms Development teams.
2. Ensure solution conformity and viability, overseeing project phases for smooth execution.
3. Evaluate technical risks and lead action plans.

Customer relations and commitment management involve:

1. Understanding and adhering to contractual commitments.
2. Monitoring scope and requirements, and managing discrepancies.
3. Monitoring implementation and progress, assessing remaining work, and taking actions to keep projects within budget.
4. Ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your projects will help standardize methodologies, create new services, and explore new uses (connected products/services, mobile apps). You will contribute to:

1. Continuous improvement of project methodologies and deliverables.
2. Strategy and development of related service offers.
3. Monitoring and pursuing additional business opportunities within your scope.

Candidate profile:

You have a minimum of 5 years of higher education in Telecommunications or IT, with 8 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in Industrial IT/Telecoms Technical Project Management or hardware/software solutions integration.
