Our IT department is actively seeking an energetic and motivated IT technician. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our IT systems, interacting across all departments to resolve technical issues swiftly, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting our commitment to technological innovation and excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Administer and secure Linux-based servers within an on-premise network.
• Configure and maintain virtual machines using VMware.
• Provide efficient tier-one technical support to end-users.
• Utilize ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution.
• Offer remote assistance to users.
• Implement and adhere to security best practices.
• Use scripting for automating tasks to streamline operations.
• Communicate effectively with end-users and team members.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Apply analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate within a small team environment, contributing to knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate adaptability in dynamic IT environments.
• Monitor system performance and generate reports on key metrics.
• Be prepared for regular business trips to our sites and Data Center (approximately once a month).

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft administration.
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Implement and maintain security best practices.
• Basic scripting skills for task automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Ability to document procedures and configurations.
• Experience in monitoring system performance and generating reports.
