About the team:

The Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds, and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is responsible for IT service management across Group markets. GTS ensures its IT systems deliver the required service levels efficiently and cost-effectively, supporting normal operations and disaster recovery.

The Virtual Infrastructure Services team aims to provide the best computing experience to Euroclear's internal clients via innovative virtualized services, including Converged and Hyper-Converged infrastructures.

About the role:

We are seeking a new team member for our Virtual Infrastructure Services team who is passionate about IT technology and automation.

This role focuses on managing, supporting, and evolving infrastructure such as Cohesity Backup, Dell ECS Archive Solutions, Converged (VxBlock), Hyper-Converged (Nutanix), and various hypervisor technologies (VMware, Akropolis, Azure) in a 24/7 environment.

A key goal is to design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the development of technology strategies and lifecycle management plans for our infrastructures, especially Cohesity backup and Dell EMC S3.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop solutions.
• Design architecture and project plans.
• Build relationships with other IT experts.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and other teams.
• Participate in daily service support activities (incidents, alerts, changes).
• Provide on-call support during off-hours.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Offer consulting to OS teams and other stakeholders.
• Support private cloud strategies.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in service engineering or operations.
• Expertise in backup platforms, with minimum 2 years with Cohesity in large environments.
• Experience with Dell EMC S3 archiving platforms, minimum 2 years.
• Strong background in managing VMware virtualization environments.
• Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure experience is a plus.
• Experience with converged infrastructures like VxBlock is a plus.
• Passion for automation and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Tower, and PowerShell.
• Storage infrastructure management experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch skills are a plus.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Proactive, energetic, and hands-on attitude.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues quickly.
• Remain effective under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and team collaboration.
• Open to change and continuous learning.
• Able to handle complex situations and work outside regular hours if required.

The position may require on-call or watch duty, during which you need to be reachable outside normal hours to perform interventions, either onsite or remotely. All necessary equipment will be provided.
