Description du poste

The IT Support Engineer is needed to assist with, but not limited to, the maintenance and configuration of our internal infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. You will install hardware and software, and continuously improve to meet the IT business needs of our organization. You will actively resolve problems and issues with computer, network, and server systems to minimize work disruptions locally and globally, maintaining a business continuity approach at all times. Working with the wider team, you will help unify and simplify solutions across all regions, embracing IT modernization through tools to boost employee productivity. You will report to the IT Manager from a regional perspective and to the Global Digital Workplace Manager when assisting global users or tasks.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will :

  1. Drive the transition from individual services to unified and simplified solutions across all regions, converting to a modern workplace environment.
  2. Support modern technologies remotely for all offices, both locally and globally.
  3. Continuously assess and improve the services offered to our business units, aligning with regional requirements and our global scale.
  4. Support the day-to-day operation of all technology and telecommunication devices (hardware, software, servers, network, internet, and phones) within our IT Service Management framework (asset, incident, problem, and change management).
  5. Operate, maintain, and expand the network infrastructure (Layer 2 - Layer 7), primarily on Fortinet systems.
  6. Draft and evaluate technology-related projects, proposals, and reports as required.
  7. Regularly evaluate current configurations and improve where necessary.
  8. Ensure the accurate and timely resolution of incidents and requests in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  9. Act as the escalation point for team members.
  10. Promote excellent customer service for all frontline service delivery, constantly seeking ways to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

About you

  • Degree in a relevant IT field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certification in Server+ and MCSE is beneficial.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Macintosh client systems.
  • Experience with Windows server roles (AD DS, AD FS, DNS, DHCP) and networked workstations (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
  • Ability to manage a multi-domain environment.
  • Experience in network design for multi-office environments.
  • Knowledge of firewalls and switches (Fortinet) is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Ability to document processes effectively.
  • Experience with wireless networks and troubleshooting wireless issues.
  • Willingness to travel between offices as needed.
  • Ability to work within a fast-moving team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with decision-making capabilities.
