FinOps Weekly in Paris is seeking an IT Operations Manager to own our hybrid Azure infrastructure for a luxury-grade, international e-commerce platform. You will drive stability, security and performance, overseeing critical ERP, Supply Chain and POS systems.

It is responsible for the stability, performance, security, and ongoing evolution of the group’s technical infrastructure, with oversight of production IT aligned to luxury-level service expectations.The scope includes Azure and hybrid infrastructure, international e-commerce, and critical business applications such as ERP, Supply Chain, and POS Retail. The role works closely with internal technical teams, subsidiaries, regional teams, external providers, the RSSI, and the IAM function to support operational resilience, transformation, and security.## Key Responsibilities– Define and maintain the infrastructure roadmap across Azure and hybrid environments, in line with the Infrastructure and Technology direction. – Lead major transformation, architecture, and migration projects into the Azure ecosystem at international scale, excluding IAM/identity components. – Monitor Microsoft services and innovations to support production and business needs, including omnichannel solutions and AI. – Ensure operational stability and 24/7 high availability of systems, networks, and the international e-commerce platform hosted on Azure. – Support critical applications, including ERP, Supply Chain, and POS Retail. – Improve infrastructure performance and scalability to handle peak demand periods such as product launches, private sales, and holiday seasons. – Oversee incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL practices. – Define, track, and uphold SLA and SLO commitments for business stakeholders. – Lead continuity and disaster recovery planning on Azure, including regular testing of PCA/PRA processes. – Manage and develop the internal technical team, including system, network, cloud Azure, and administrator profiles. – Coordinate with international subsidiaries and regional teams to maintain technical standards. – Manage external vendors and partners, including hosting providers, software publishers, managed service providers, and CDN providers. – Negotiate contracts, follow KPIs, and lead steering committees with external partners. – Enforce information security policy across servers, networks, and cloud services. – Work with the RSSI and IAM teams to ensure secure application connectivity and integration. – Ensure infrastructure hardening and compliance with applicable requirements, including GDPR and PCI-DSS.## Required Skills– Bac+5 qualification, such as an engineering degree or Master’s degree in IT/computer science. – 8–10 years of experience in complex infrastructure management and production IT. – Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in an international e-commerce environment. – Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS, technical governance, automation, and landing zones. – Excellent understanding of CDN technologies, including Azure Front Door. – Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation, including caching and response times. – Solid experience with international network architectures, including SD-WAN and ExpressRoute. – Good knowledge of security protocols. – Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. – Strong understanding of highly available database architectures for online transactions on Azure. – Full command of ITIL. – DevOps culture, with experience in Azure DevOps. – Strong FinOps awareness, including cloud consumption tracking and budget optimisation. – Fluent English, essential for an international environment. – Strong customer service mindset, with zero tolerance for service interruptions on e-commerce and in-store operations. – Proven leadership and communication skills. – Strong ability to work calmly under pressure during critical incidents or cyber crises. – Practical, agile approach balanced with production discipline.Educational Games## Preferred Skills– Experience in luxury or premium retail. – Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer.## Cloud Platforms & Technologies### Cloud Providers – Microsoft Azure – Hybrid cloud – IaaS – PaaS### Security Tools – Azure Security Center – Microsoft Defender for Cloud### Networking & Delivery – CDN – Azure Front Door – SD-WAN – ExpressRoute### DevOps & Automation – Azure DevOps – Landing zones – Automation### Operating Systems – Windows – Linux### Identity & Access – IAM### Enterprise Applications – ERP – Supply Chain – POS Retail## FinOps Responsibilities– Track cloud consumption and support budget control across the department. – Manage and optimise Azure cloud costs. – Oversee the departmental budget, including OPEX and CAPEX. – Use financial discipline to improve cloud spending efficiency.## Benefits– Permanent contract (CDI). – Immediate start date. – Gross annual salary of €74,000 to €83,000, depending on profile and experience.## Why You Might Be InterestedThis role combines strategic Azure transformation with hands-on responsibility for critical international operations.
