IT Manager & Physicist

IT Manager and Physicist required to join a growing Quantum Computing company. This role involves enhancing measurement and plotting software, developing an internal data visualization platform, and managing IT infrastructure, including system administration and network security.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the measurement and plotting software to integrate all data from fabrication and characterization processes.
• Develop an internal website for data visualization, automated report generation, and datasheet creation.
• Oversee the code repository, ensuring synchronization with measurement apparatus and maintaining version control.
• Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including system administration, equipment procurement, and software maintenance.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall, VPN, DNS, VLAN, and routing rules.
• Support the integration of shipping and customer service functionalities into the internal website.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and database management.
• Experience with Git for version control and code collaboration.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, including firewall, VPN, DNS, VLAN, and routing rules.
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools (VISA, triggering) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
