Role overview

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the IT Manager is responsible for supervising the IT outsourcing and support service provider while playing a key role as a Business Analyst (MOA) consultant on internal digitalization projects. Additionally, the manager will be in charge of monitoring the IT budget, managing the company's business software, and possessing managerial skills to eventually recruit and lead an internal IT team.

Your responsibilities

Business Analyst (MOA) for digitalization projects:

Analyze the needs of users and various departments.

Write functional specifications for digitalization projects.

Participate in the selection of technological solutions.

Ensure coordination between business teams and technical teams.

Oversee the testing and validation phases of new solutions.

Supervision of IT outsourcing and support:

Oversee the updating and evolution of IT infrastructure with the assistance of the IT outsourcing service provider.

Manage and coordinate with the IT outsourcing service provider.

Control and validate the provider's interventions in terms of support and maintenance.

Ensure the quality of services provided and compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Monitor IT incidents and problems.

Management of business software

Monitor and manage the business software used by the company.

Ensure the updating and optimization of software.

IT Budget Monitoring

Develop and monitor the annual IT budget.

Optimize costs and ensure rigorous financial management.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers.

Profile overview

You have at least 8-10 years of experience (or are able to demonstrate an equivalent level of expertise) in a similar function or a consulting company; an experience during which you have acquired in particular:

Proven experience in IT project management and in managing digitalization projects.

Strong understanding of the financial sector and its processes.

Good knowledge of information systems and network infrastructures.

Strong knowledge of digitalization tools and technologies (ERP, CRM, collaborative tools, etc.)

Other requirements

A university degree in engineering, computer science, or any other related field.

Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and IT service providers and influence decisions at the executive level.

Bilingual fluency in English and French both written and verbal.

Demonstrated managerial experience with team recruitment and leadership capabilities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong project management capabilities; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
