Job Description

The IT Manager at SUMMIT Paris is responsible to manage and oversee all aspects of technology – both at the guest-facing attraction as well as the back office. A successful candidate will have experience and expertise across a broad range of technologies, as well as possess skills to manage and motivate a team of highly skilled IT professionals. Collaboration with the various business teams as well as the global IT teams will be necessary to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing Information Technology for Summit Paris.
  • Partner with SUMMIT Paris business leadership to align strategic technology objectives and programs to business objectives.
  • Partner and collaborate with SUMMIT One Vanderbilt and SL Green to ensure SUMMIT Paris IT standards and procedures dovetail with global IT standards and procedures.
  • Foster innovation, recommend solutions and strategies, prioritize IT initiatives.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems.
  • Manage the pipeline of IT projects in alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure performance of the SUMMIT Paris IT budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company budgets.
  • Develop and document appropriate IT goals, objectives, procedures, and performance measures.
  • Conduct research with teams on new technologies and make determinations on the implementation of the same to keep the company innovative and ahead of the market.
  • Partner with IT leads on management and oversight of individual areas for cloud and on-premise hardware, software, applications, audio‑visual, network systems, end‑user devices.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and cybersecurity across all areas of technology.
  • Extend IT support to all SUMMIT Paris employees.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the IT staff, infrastructure, and resources.
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery exercises at least annually for all business‑critical technology.
  • Establish and maintain a high‑performance team of professionally trained and motivated staff.
  • Complete effective performance management and career‑development activities.
  • Represent the company in external technology forums and conferences as applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Overall 15 years of IT work experience, with minimum 5 years of IT management experience.
  • Deep and broad experience in IT infrastructure as well as applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
