NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share.

This is a really cool client - they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have ambitious growth plans! Candidates often leave positive impressions; I have placed two developers there, both of whom have stayed over 4 years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and develop mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about the RoR stack with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Able to work French hours with a ±2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with Engineering Manager/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Discuss feedback and meet wider team members
