Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France, holding a significant market share.

This client is highly regarded for their efficient work culture, focusing on fixing issues rather than covering them up, and they have ambitious growth plans. Candidates who have worked there often leave positive impressions; I have placed two developers who have stayed for over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Requirements:

• Passion for the RoR stack, with ideally 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Proficient in English (written and verbal) to work effectively in this language
• Ability to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Discuss feedback and meet wider team members
