Allianz Technology in France offers an apprenticeship in Finance Controlling. You will report to the Allianz Trade Business Controller for France and support the Gearshift project by managing budgets, run and project costs, and reporting deviations to stakeholders.

You will assist standard controlling tasks and participate in financial analyses in a dynamic international IT environment. Located in La Défense, this apprenticeship spans 24 months with a dedicated onboarding and rich training

Qualifications

• Master's student in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Well-organized with excellent time management.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel/Power Query and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn and apply AI in the role.

Responsabilités

• Monitor deviations between actuals and the plan for consulting activities.
• Ensure proper allocation of consulting costs within the cost center structure.
• Ensure accurate monthly billing reporting to customers and provision calculations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager to steer the P&L.
• Provide financial analyses, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Develop guidelines, methods, and processes in controlling.
• Participate in financial projects and ad hoc initiatives.

Allianz Technology is responsible for the IT of Allianz Trade! Allianz Trade is a subsidiary of the Allianz Group, a leader in B2B insurance solutions for trade exchanges (credit insurance, surety, e-commerce). You will report to the Allianz Trade Business Controller for France. You will support the Gearshift Allianz Trade project (internal carve-out and transfer of people and contracts to Allianz Technology) by managing and securing the budget (run and projects) for consulting activities, as well as reporting any deviations to stakeholders. In parallel, you will assist the Controlling team in performing standard controlling tasks.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring deviations between actuals and the plan for consulting activities, analyzing deviations and their causes,
• Ensuring proper allocation of consulting costs within the cost center structure based on the activities performed (run, projects),
• Ensuring accurate monthly billing reporting to customers and provision calculations,
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance,
• Collaborating with the Senior Finance Manager and Senior Controller to efficiently steer the profit and loss statement,
• Providing financial analyses, reports, and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly),
• Contributing to the development of guidelines, methods, best practices, processes, and systems in the controlling area,
• Participating in financial projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.

• You are proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel/Power Query and PowerPoint.
• You are fluent in English and French.
• A willingness to learn and explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance your role and the organization as a whole is expected.

Additional Information

Contract: Apprenticeship.
