Job summary

PNO Innovation France is seeking a Medior IT Consultant to join our Digital Innovation team in France. You will analyse and structure digital R&D projects and produce high-quality technical documentation for CIR/CII, translating complex work into clear narratives for tax authorities.

You will collaborate with clients’ technical teams, own projects and deliverables, and guide junior consultants while staying current with CIR/CII requirements.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data, or related field.
• 3–6 years of digital R&D or innovation consulting experience.
• Ability to formalise technical uncertainty and R&D value.
• Strong writing and structuring skills in French (C2).

Responsibilities

• Analyse digital R&D projects (AI, software, data, cloud, systems) and identify technical uncertainties.
• Lead interviews with technical experts to structure and challenge R&D narratives.
• Write and review detailed scientific and technical justifications for CIR/CII files.
• Translate complex technical work into clear, compliant documentation for tax authorities.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and robustness of deliverables.
• Manage parts of the project lifecycle and interact with clients.
• Support and review work from junior consultants.
• Stay up to date with technological trends and CIR/CII requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Medior IT Consultant to join our Digital Innovation team in France.

In this role, you will analyse and structure complex digital R&D projects and produce high-quality technical documentation, mainly for the French R&D tax schemes (CIR / CII). This is a consulting role with a strong focus on writing, where your ability to formalise complex technical work into clear and rigorous narratives is key.

You will work closely with clients’ technical teams and take ownership of projects and deliverables.

Your Mission

Your mission is to support innovative companies in identifying, structuring, and justifying their digital R&D activities, ensuring high-quality documentation aligned with CIR/CII requirements.

Your Tasks

Your Profile

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3 to 6 years of experience in digital R&D, innovation consulting, or complex technical environments
• Strong ability to identify and formalise technical uncertainty and R&D value
• Excellent writing and structuring skills in French (C2 level required)
• Comfortable interacting with technical stakeholders and clients
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail
• Good command of English
• Eligible to work in France (no visa sponsorship)
