PNO Innovation France is seeking a Senior Innovation Consultant to support industrial clients in identifying, structuring, and securing R&D funding in Lyon. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, developing client relationships and driving growth.

You will analyze projects for funding opportunities, interact with clients, and prepare high-quality technical and financial documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance and identifying new business opportunities. Hybrid work model in Lyon.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in innovation funding or grants.
• Strong ability to write and structure funding applications.
• Fluent French and professional English (B2+).

We are looking for a Senior Innovation Consultant to join our team in Lyon and work with industrial clients on a wide range of funding opportunities, including R&D tax incentives and public grants.

Your mission

You will support innovative companies in identifying, structuring, and securing funding for their R&D activities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will contribute to building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage a portfolio of industrial clients
• Analyze their projects and identify relevant funding opportunities
• Interact directly with clients to collect and challenge technical information
• Prepare and structure high-quality technical and financial documentation
• Advise clients on their innovation funding strategy
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Identify new business opportunities within your client portfolio
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex projects

What we’re looking for

• Around 4–6 years of experience in innovation funding, R&D tax credit, or grants
• Strong experience in writing and structuring funding applications
• Background in engineering, industry, energy, chemistry, or similar
• Experience working with industrial clients
• A client-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Fluent French (mandatory) and professional English (B2+)

Experience with CIR/CII is a strong advantage, but we are open to candidates with broader funding experience.
