Jobtailor in Bordeaux seeks a Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Lead to drive the technical roadmap and oversee a team of cloud engineers and systems admins.

You will ensure availability, performance, and security of critical systems and collaborate with the CTO on strategic direction. This on-site role requires deep Linux/cloud expertise and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Linux and open-source environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, networking, virtualization, and distributed systems.
• Experience with DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Pulumi, etc.).
• Solid understanding of system security practices (ISO27001 / SOC2 a plus).
• Technical project management skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of Cloud engineers and systems administrators.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical systems.
• Define and deploy the technical roadmap in collaboration with the CTO.
• Ensure compliance and manage the IT estate and IT assets.
• Take responsibility for infrastructure security (ISO27001 / SOC2 frameworks).
• Oversee production operations (deployments, updates, incidents, databases).
• Support development teams on CI/CD pipelines and test environments.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alert management.
• Develop and improve cloud infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code - IaC).
• Administer cloud and on-premises systems as well as network, VPN, and IT equipment.

Description du poste

• Lead and manage a team of Cloud engineers and systems administrators
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical systems
• Define and deploy the technical roadmap in collaboration with the CTO
• Ensure compliance and manage the IT estate and IT assets
• Take responsibility for infrastructure security (ISO27001 / SOC2 frameworks)
• Ensure operational maintenance and readiness (MCO) of environments
• Oversee production operations (deployments, updates, incidents, databases)
• Support development teams on CI/CD pipelines and test environments
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alert management
• Optimize performance and capacity management
• Develop and improve cloud infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code - IaC)
• Administer cloud and on-premises systems as well as network, VPN, and IT equipment
• Deploy and maintain security controls (ISO27001, SOC2)
• Manage access, patching, vulnerabilities, and backups
• Lead business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DRP) arrangements
• Ensure data processing complies with legal and internal requirements
• Manage budgets and optimize IT costs
• Manage vendors and contracts
• Define and promote IT best practices

Requirements
