Qualifications

IT Business Analysis Expert

CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.
CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

YOUR ROLE :

In order to address its Ship Management ERP (SmartTOUCH) support and evolution, CMA Ships is reinforcing its Digital Solutions team with a position of IT Business Analyst.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO :

1. Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.
2. Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
3. Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
4. Be responsible for maintenance and product evolution of software applications.
5. Application Support:
   1. Provide level 1/2 technical support for day-to-day application queries and issues.
   2. Analyze the root cause, resolve data management issues and propose permanent fixes (if applicable).
   3. Monitor, manage and solve application problems via the dedicated incident management tool within the OLA.
   4. Document issues, observations and outcomes accurately to escalate issues as required in the vendor's incident management tool and to ensure the resolution within the SLA.
   5. Maintain and create documentation for technical troubleshooting and best practices.
   6. Maintain understanding of company business processes.
6. Product Management:
   1. Identify, capture and translate business requirements for technical discussion.
   2. Prioritize business needs with Business Stakeholders on the release of functionalities.
   3. Document the feedback, suggestions and business requirements via the dedicated change management tool.
   4. Monitor product development to ensure consistency against business requirements.
   5. Perform functional tests on product and coordinate User Acceptance Test with business users.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR :

1. Good knowledge of the maritime operational constraints.
2. Fluent in English.
3. Experience: Must have 3-5 years experience in:
   1. Product management and application support.
   2. Driving product and process improvements.
   3. Providing front-end application support.
4. Personal attributes:
   1. Analytical skills.
   2. Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
   3. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
   4. Effective verbal, written and presentation skills.
   5. Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
   6. Proficient in determining the causes for application errors.
