Purpose

This position has the responsibility of overseeing finance operation, taxes and reporting functions for statutory as well as management accounts for legal entities in cluster country in France, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Romania & Poland. This is a busy hands-on business support position that seeks a motivated individual who takes initiative in their work and has a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to supporting multiple tasks. Experience in a similar role is essential.

The candidate must possess cross-functional skills interacting with internal and external stakeholders participating in the Business Line and country bid/tender, project accounting, financial audits, as well as strategic planning and governance of Tax, working capital, internal control, trade compliance and risk management. The legal entities’ accounting operations will be supported by a central accounting shared service team in Manila.

Key Missions

• Oversee all Finance activities in cluster country – France, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Romania & Poland.
• Controllership of statutory and management reporting
• Coordination of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL and reporting functions with Centre of Excellence (COE) team in Philippines
• Key business support to the trading, projects, services and R&D activities
• Governance of local policies, processes and procedures

Profile & Other Information

• Degree in Accounting / Chartered Accountancy Qualification
• Solid experience, ideally in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulations
• Proficiency in English required
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Problem-solver
• Preferred experience in accounting within large companies
• In-depth knowledge of treasury functions
• Attention to detail and adaptability
• Autonomous, results-oriented, and a team player
• Appreciation of remote shared services environment
