Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a Legal Counsel for a freelance/short-term contract in Paris. You will partner with operation teams to manage IP protection, enforcement, and related litigation while supporting commercial agreements across products and activities.

The role requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong business sense and collaborative mindset. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in IP, litigation or tech-driven environments, with experience in France and a willingness to engage across multiple

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in IP, litigation, media or tech-focused teams.
• Strong knowledge of IP law (copyrights, trademarks, designs) and enforcement.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is required.

Responsibilities

• IP protection: registrations, enforcement, pre-litigation and litigation in France and abroad.
• Commercial support: review and draft IP-related agreements, licensing, risk management.
• Process optimization: streamline workflows to improve legal team's responsiveness.
• Impact: partner with cross-functional teams and advise on strategic IP decisions.
