Role :

Reporting to the IP & Business Affairs team, you will gain exposure to IP legal issues and audiovisual business trends and deal terms, across two parallel workstreams within the Business & Legal Affairs function.

In this role, your main tasks will include :

1. Intragroup and acquisition deals :

  • Helping on drafting intragroup format licence agreements, extension and summaries of rights acquisition agreements for France and internationally, and any other agreements negotiated centrally, and ensuring administrative, accounting and reporting follow-up;
  • Researching, checking and securing chains of rights / clearance of IP titles;
  • Liaise with internal production companies across various territories to collect deal terms, production updates, and launch status related to streamer commissions;
  • Track, summarize and record key contractual provisions, market trends, and developments in streamer agreements (e.g., Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, etc.) across Banijay’s international footprint;
  • Support internal deal precedents -sharing by compiling summaries of streamer negotiation trends and key business / legal points.

General Contributions

  • Assist in intellectual property queries, research and legal watch activities in the IP / media sector;
  • Identify and evaluate AI tools or legal tech solutions to streamline legal workflows and improve team efficiency;
  • Support coordination and document organization across both workstreams and contribute to new projects or emerging business areas as needed.

Profile

This position is a 6-to 12-months internship or apprenticeship to be filled by September 2025.

  • You must have a legal background with a Master II in Media / Audiovisual Law, Intellectual Property Law, or Business Law.
  • Previous internship or professional experience, especially within legal, media, or entertainment sectors, is highly valued.
  • You are fluent in English and are looking for an international position in which English is the working language.
