About the Role

A leading upper mid-market private equity fund is seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to join its Paris-based team. The firm partners with ambitious management teams across Europe to unlock growth, enhance operational performance, and drive value creation.

This role offers full lifecycle investment exposure, from origination and due diligence to value creation and exit. It is ideal for an analytically sharp, commercially minded individual with prior deal exposure and a passion for investing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support senior investors on deal execution, financial modelling, due diligence, and market analysis
2. Participate in investment committee discussions and contribute to investment recommendations
3. Engage directly with management teams, advisers, and co-investors
4. Conduct strategic reviews and assist with value creation initiatives across the portfolio
5. Support exit strategies and realisation processes for mature investments

Candidate Profile

1. 2 - 4 years’ experience in investment banking or private equity
2. Strong academic background from a top-tier institution
3. Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills; highly analytical and commercially astute
4. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, deal-driven environments
5. Fluent in French and English; additional European language (e.g., German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or Nordic) is a plus
6. Proactive mindset with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
