Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a top-tier institution (leading business schools, engineering schools, Dauphine, Sciences Po, etc.)
• Strong quantitative/financial/analytical skills and ability to build an integrated 3-statement model
• Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
• Understanding of European mid-market private investing
• 1–2 years of private credit, private equity, or investment banking experience
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

• Assisting in the execution of all aspects of the deal process and subsequent portfolio management
• End-to-end assessment of investment opportunities, including review of transaction documentation and attending management presentations / due diligence sessions

Apera Asset Management ("Apera") is a leading pan-European mid-market private debt investor with more than €5bn of AUM with offices in London, Munich, Paris and Luxembourg. Apera's Private Debt strategy focuses on senior secured financings in France, Benelux, the UK, Ireland, DACH and the Nordic region. Target investments range from €10 million to €150 million with emphasis on providing capital solutions to mid-market businesses which demonstrate downside resilience, competitive market positioning and attractive growth prospects.

We are seeking to hire an Analyst into our Paris-based investment team, to support the origination, due diligence and execution of transactions.

As an Investment Analyst, you will support the investment team based in Paris across the full investment lifecycle, for senior, unitranche, and hybrid debt opportunities. Working closely with senior team members, you will help source, evaluate, execute, and monitor investments across a variety of industries and geographies. The role requires strong analytical capability, sound credit judgment, and the ability to form and communicate investment views clearly and confidently.

Qualifications

• Relevant master’s degree from a top-tier institution (leading business schools, engineering schools, Dauphine, Sciences Po, etc.)
• Strong intellect with excellent quantitative, financial and analytical skills, including the ability to build and interrogate an integrated 3-statement model
• Self-starter with an ability to communicate effectively and meet various deadlines
• Understanding of European mid-market private investing
• Ideal candidate to have relevant internship experience and 1-2 years of private credit, private equity, transaction services or investment banking experience
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential
