OP Mobility in France seeks an intern to join the Simulation Validation and Correlation team, focusing on comparing physical test results with CAE simulations and improving reliability to reduce physical testing.

The role starts in March 2027 for a 6-month period and involves data collection, database building, and collaboration with CAE and Validation Engineers to drive higher correlation and robust methodologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering.
• English proficiency at B2/C1.
• Knowledge of structural simulation and CAE analyses.
• Familiar with Abaqus, LS-DYNA, and the HyperWorks suite.

Responsabilités

• Monitor tests carried out in the laboratory.
• Collect data from physical tests and compare with CAE simulation results (PV1200).
• Build a database, analyze results, identify discrepancies, and define actions to improve CAE methodologies.
• Collaborate with CAE and Validation Engineers to build a relevant and reliable database.
• Identify and present opportunities to reduce physical testing by leveraging historical data, aiming for >80% correlation.
