Axegaz T&T, seeking a Gas Trading Intern to join its Trading & Operations team in Nanterre, will be fully integrated into the desk and work at the heart of market activity and day-to-day trading on LNG and gas markets. During the internship you will monitor markets, analyze storage levels, support trade execution, prepare reports, and contribute to trading tools using Excel, Python and VBA.

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

• Initial exposure to trading, commodities or energy markets (internship, project or experience).
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English (C1 level required).

To support our rapidly accelerating development—with the acquisition of new clients and growing demand for bioLNG—Axegaz T&T is looking for a Gas Trading Intern to join its Trading & Operations team.

THE INTERNSHIP

You will be fully integrated into the Trading & Operations team, working at the heart of market activity and day-to-day trading. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring gas and energy commodities markets and identifying trading opportunities
• Monitoring storage levels, analysing portfolio exposure, and contributing to trading strategy development
• Supporting trade execution under the supervision of the trading desk
• Operational follow-up: positions assessment, trade closures, reconciliations, , reporting
• Preparing key reports (KPIs, operational metrics, market analysis)
• Actively contributing to the improvement and redesign of trading management tools (using tools such as Excel, VBA, Python)

• Initial exposure to trading, commodities, or energy markets (internship, academic project, or personal experience)
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
• Fluent English (C1 level required)

Please note: this role is focused on hands-on trading and physical markets and is not a quantitative research or pure financial modelling internship.
