Job summary

AXA Headquarters in Paris invites you to join the Financial Controlling team as a Financial Controlling Intern. You will analyze consolidated figures across Life, Health, Property & Casualty, and other entities while supporting global reporting and closing processes.

You will work in a dynamic, international environment with English as the official work language (French is frequently used). The role offers hybrid work and exposure to a global leader in insurance, valuable for Early Talent.

Within PBRC (Plan, Budgets, Results Central), you will join the Financial Controlling team as Financial Controlling Intern.

What You’ll Do

• Analyzing consolidated figures and financial performance of the different business segments (i.e., Life and Savings, Health, Property and Casualty, Banking, Holdings), as well as of the different geographical entities and countries (in terms of activity, volume, & growth, P&L, profitability analyses)
• Provide support on transversal reporting processes: identify, design, and implement improvements.
• Helping the team conduct the financial closings in a timely manner and ensuring no flaws to Group deliverables.
• Communicate and work with the entities in the respective scope to assist and become a trusted business partner. Proactively engage with the entities to source information and needs.

YOUR PROFILE

Who You Are

• Strong will to learn and work in financial analysis.
• Ability to take initiatives.
• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
• Dynamic, rigorous, and available
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as PowerPoint
• Gap year/ Last year of business school (i.e. BAC+4 / BAC+5)

The official work language is English. French is also used a lot but it’s not a requirement.
