Job summary

AXA Group Headquarters in Paris is seeking an Investment Strategy and Financial Data Analyst to monitor global investments and data, and to support analysts and strategists in shaping AXA Group investments. You will work with Bloomberg data, asset managers, banks and internal teams in a dynamic, international environment.

The role requires fluency in English, with French a plus, and a background in finance, economics or quantitative fields.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; French a plus.
• Experience in Investment, risk management, and financial data analysis preferred.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Analysts and Strategists in assessing global investment backdrop and opportunities to steer AXA Group investments
• Contribute to the periodic investment strategy, credit and other liquid asset classes monitoring
• Gather, analyze, maintain and improve financial data from various sources (Bloomberg, Reports from Asset Managers; Banks; External proposals; etc...)
• Coordinate with entities across the group to ensure the coherence of the strategies as well as the optimization of the risks and results.

you will join the Alternative & Credit Team as Investment Strategy and Financial Data Analyst. The team is responsible for steering and monitoring investments in Global Public fixed income, covering notably global rates, credit (Investment Grade and High Yield), Emerging Markets, CLOs and ABS and RMBS.

Your Role And Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Assist Analysts and Strategists in assessing global investment backdrop and opportunities to steer AXA Group investments
• Contribute to the periodic investment strategy, credit and other liquid asset classes monitoring
• Gathering, analyzing, maintaining and improving financial data from various sources (Bloomberg, Reports from Asset Managers; Banks; External proposals; etc...)
• Coordinate with entities across the group to ensure the coherence of the strategies as well as the optimization of the risks and results.

YOUR PROFILE

Technical and professional skills

• Investment and Risk Management, Finance and Financial Mathematics, or Economics
• Proficiency in IT tools (notably excel), coding expertise (VBA) or databases analysis tools required
• Knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus

Communication Skills

• English fluency required (spoken and written); other language(s) or/and French a plus

Experience

• Data Science or Graduate Program from Business Schools, Engineering or Finance / Economic master’s degrees from Universities
