Salomon is seeking a highly motivated CMF Design Intern to join the Apparel CMF team in Annecy. You will help develop seasonal color palettes, materials, and finishes that reflect the brand identity and meet the needs of outdoor apparel.

You will support graphic and material development, maintain color libraries, and assist in cross-functional projects. This internship spans 6 months with a starting date in January/February 2027, offering flexible hours and an accessible workplace.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a degree in CMF Design, Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• Passion for outdoor sports and familiarity with Salomon’s brand.
• Excellent visual and aesthetic sense for color, pattern, and texture.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); knowledge of Clo3D, Substance, or other 3D CMF software is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview:

Salomon is seeking a highly motivated and creative CMF Design Intern to join our dynamic team in the Apparel Section. The CMF Design Intern will play a key role in assisting the CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) team in developing seasonal color palettes, graphic designs, and material&finish strategies that reflect Salomon's brand identity and meet the needs of our diverse customer base.

Your mission will include:

1. CMF Design Support

• Assist the CMF team in researching and identifying emerging trends in color, materials, and finishes relevant to outdoor sports apparel.
• Support the development of seasonal CMF mood boards, inspiration sources, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with designers to create and refine color palettes aligned with Salomon’s brand DNA and consumer insights.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining color and material libraries for internal reference.

2. Graphic and Material Development

• Support graphic designers in developing print and pattern concepts for apparel collections, incorporating seasonal themes, brand identity, and technical requirements.
• Help coordinate and maintain strike-off and sample libraries.
• Conduct trend and material research, exploring innovative, sustainable, and performance-driven materials and trims for apparel products.

3. Operational and Project Support

• Provide timely and effective operative design support to the CMF and Apparel Design teams, contributing to short-term project planning and execution.
• Actively participate in cross-functional development projects as a collaborative team member.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in CMF Design, Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Passion for outdoor sports and strong familiarity with Salomon’s brand and products.
• Excellent visual and aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for color, pattern, and texture.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); knowledge of Clo3D, Substance, or other 3D CMF software is a plus.

Additional Information

Contract: Internship (a convention agreement is mandatory)

Location: Annecy

Duration: 6 months

Administrative conditions:

This internship is covered by a tripartite training agreement (convention de stage) between you, your school, and the company. Applicants who are EU nationals can apply without any specific formality. Compensation:

At Salomon, internship allowances are broken down as follows:

High school diploma to bachelor's degree: €700 gross

Housing allowance:

€300 housing assistance upon presentation of a lease agreement for a property located within 50 km of the head office and monthly receipts.
