A premier outdoor sports brand in Annecy is seeking a skilled 3D Apparel Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in 3D modeling and passionate about technical clothing. You will collaborate closely with designers and pattern makers while utilizing cutting-edge tools and techniques. This is a full-time, permanent role offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative sportswear design.

Qualifications

Fluent in English.
Ability to offer 3D training to team mates.
Ability to collaborate with various departments/profession.

Mastery of 3D garment pattern assembly.
Design and model hardgoods components.
Produce high-quality 3D visualizations.
Research and develop realistic textures and materials.
Stay updated on emerging 3D and AI technologies.
Organize and lead 3D training sessions.

Job Description

Are you an expert in 3D modeling for apparel products?

Do you have a passion for technical clothing?

Our Design Apparel team is looking for its next team member: 3D Apparel Designer (W/M)!

Your main missions :

Mastery of 3D garment pattern assembly, based on existing patterns or the designer's technical drawings.
Design and model hardgoods components (e.g., trims, accessories) with a strong understanding of 3D polygonal modeling.
Produce high-quality 3D visualizations to communicate creative concepts and product designs throughout every stage of development.
Research and develop realistic textures and materials for apparel and accessories using tools like Substance and Photoshop.
Knowledge of prompt design and the use of artificial intelligence tools and techniques to enhance the design workflow.
Stay updated on emerging 3D and AI technologies to keep Salomon at the forefront of design innovation.
Organize and lead 3D training sessions for designers and pattern makers to enhance team capabilities.
Collaborate with pattern makers to understand both traditional and digital pattern-making techniques, integrating them into the 3D process.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Knowledge in technical clothing
- Sensitivity/affinity for color, material, and product finishes. We are looking for a 3D designer with an eye for detail and the art of enhancing a product through its finishes.
- Knowledge of the outdoor, performance sportstyle market
- Knowledge in 3D Art
Foreign languages: Fluent in English,
Computer skills/IT :
- command of Microsoft Office
- Modeling tools such as Clo3D
- AI, prompt design
- Blender ( Cinema 4D, 3ds Max are a plus)
Qualifications :
