Natixis is seeking a Commodities Sales Assistant Intern to join the team in Paris for a 6-month period starting December 2026. You will support institutional and corporate clients in managing commodity exposure, assist in pricing, proposals, and sales pitches, and contribute to market analyses and newsletters.

Job Description

You are joining the Commodities Sales team looking for an intern Commodities Sales Assistant for an internship of 6 months from December 2026.

The team’s main mission is to advise and support our institutional and corporate clients in managing their exposure risks to commodity markets (energy, metals, agricultural products), to execute their transactions and develop the bank’s commercial offering.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Provide daily commercial support by assisting in the preparation of pricings, commercial proposals, and sales pitches for commodity derivatives;


• Produce market analyses and daily/weekly newsletters for clients (monitoring of prices, supply and demand fundamentals, and macroeconomic news);


• Participate in the modeling and monitoring of client positions, ensuring proper coordination with the structuring, research, and middle/back office teams;


• Contribute to the development of commercial activity by identifying new market opportunities and preparing targeted prospecting files.

As a Commodities Sales Assistant Intern, you actively participate in the digitalization of our sales monitoring tools and in strengthening our customer relationship through ever more impactful and responsive market analyses.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a Bac+4/5 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school, or engineering school), with a specialization in Market Finance or Commodity Economics.

You have a first experience (internship/ gap) in market finance.

You master:

• The key concepts of financial markets and derivatives (futures, options, swaps).


• Classic office tools, especially Excel (VBA is a real asset) and PowerPoint.


• The use of financial information terminals (Bloomberg or Reuters).

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen, and are rigorous, proactive, and endowed with a strong team spirit.

You are proficient in English with a minimum level of C1 (fluent in both written and spoken forms).
